Ousman Sambou founded Glossary Seafood and Fishing Company along with its sister companies with a commitment to deliver the best quality seafood to the world. Born in the Gambia, Ousman came to the United States to attend City University of New York- Lehman College. After graduating in nursing, he worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Units ( ICU) and infection control department for 15 years. Ousman remained committed to his dream of owning his own Seafood company. After travelling the world and doing extensive product quality research, the conclusion was that Glossary Seafood and Fishing Company must emerge with a mission to bring the best quality seafood to the world that meet and exceed international standards.
Today, Glossary Seafood and Fishing Company is the leading seafood processors and exporters for fresh quality frozen seafood products from the Gambia and is internationally recognized for exporting the best quality seafood to the world.
